L'activité de Marion
Tampon Lajarriette consiste essentiellement à réinvestir
les chefs d'oeuvre du cinéma, et à intervenir sur
l'unité de leur image ou de leur déroulement temporel.
Dans le cadre bien défini du film pré-existant, elle
ouvre d'autres espaces-temps possibles, d'autres modes de navigations,
des chemins de traverse où le flâneur peut
déambuler sans but ni repère, sans contrainte ni limite.
La visionneuse, par exemple, nous permet d'explorer les paysages
mystérieux du célèbre film d'Andrei Tarkovski
Stalker. Grâce à un jostick, cette vidéo
interactive invite le spectateur à se déplacer librement
à travers la"zone interdite". A l'inverse, Camera 1, Plan 8 ne
reconstitue aucun décor, aucune mise en scène mais un
mouvement de caméra. Ici, Marion Tampon Lajarriette a
esquissé la minutieuse carte des déplacements de
caméra du film La Corde. L'artiste réitère la
prouesse technique d'Alfred Hitchcock consistant à ne faire
apparemment qu'un seul plan-séquence pour la totalité du
film et l'applique à une vidéo d'animation
représentant une étendue d'eau.
Maron Tampon Lajarriette's activity consists mainly in reinvesting the masterpieces of the cinema. She acts on the unity of the pictures or on the temporal sequence. In a well-defined framework of the pre-existing movie, she opens others possible spaces/times, others ways of navigations, "diagon alleys" where the stroller can walk around without aim or marks, without constraints or limits. For instance, "the viewer" (la visionneuse) enables to explore mysterious landscapes of Andrei Tarkovski's famous movie: Stalker, Thanks to a joystick, this interactive video invites the spectator to move freely throughout the "forbidden zone". To the contrary, camera 1, Plan 8 does not reconstitute any decor not a setting but a displacement of the camera. Here, Marion Tampon Lajarriette drew roughly the narrow map of the movement of the camera of the movie "the rope"(la corde). The artist reiterates Alfred Hitchcock's technical feat consisting in doing only one sequence-plan for the entire movie in appearance. She applies this to an animation video representing a water surface.
